Edwin Brian, Bookmarking Demon’s creator has completely rewritten the program from scratch and created a social bookmarking tool that is far superior to its predecessor. It has a completely revamped user interface and some great new features that make bookmarking your sites easy and safe.
For those who are not familiar with it, Bookmarking Demon is a software that automates creating accounts and submitting pages to social bookmarking sites. It supports twenty different major bookmarking sites including delicious.com, mister-wong.com, and furl.net. It can also submit your pages to Scuttle, Scuttle Plus, and Pligg sites which are typically smaller type sites.
There are quite a few benefits from using a tool like Bookmarking Demon:
Targeted backlinks – Using Bookmarking Demon, you can control what keywords your site gets found under by adding tags. Each tag will create its own page on a social bookmarking site. This lets you cloak your own sites, and decreases the chances that you get caught by a social bookmarking site for spamming your own content.
Another feature that I really like is the pinging function. New to Bookmarking Demon 4, after you’ve bookmarked your site, you can ping each of the social bookmarking sites and let the search engines know that there’s newly updated content to be found. Instead of waiting several days for the search engines to find your new links, pinging your site tells them to come right away. This allows your sites to get indexed extremely fast.
Bookmarking Demon 4.1 is a great new release from Edwin Brian. It is much easier to use than the old version, and it has a lot of nice useful features.
